Gaming really is a year long hobby.  While some of the big releases each year are saved until the fourth  quarter to capitalize on holiday spending, quality titles can be found in every month throughout the year.  Already 2016 has seen the release of smaller, independent titles like The Witness and Firewatch to bigger franchises like Street Fighter V and Far Cry Primal.
