Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam Review
CRUMPLED AND FOLDED
Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam is the type of game that leaves you with a worse impression than you think it deserves. At its foundation, Paper Jam is a solid if simple turn-based RPG much like the rest of the Mario & Luigi series whose charming comedic quips can appeal to both children and fans of the Mario series. For the most part, that foundation keeps the game engaging enough throughout its 25-30 hour run time. However, what’s built on that foundation drags the overall experience down with its creatively pisspoor implementation of the Paper Mario world, constant backtracking, and fruitless busy work. By the time I saw the credits roll, Paper Jam had long worn out its welcome.
FINAL FANTASY EXPLORERS REVIEW
A SINGLEPLAYER PERSPECTIVE
I arrived on the island of Amostra a few short days ago and began my journey as an explorer. Crystals are a hot commodity, y’see, and this isolated land is rich with ‘em! Welcome to Final Fantasy Explorers. Continue reading FINAL FANTASY EXPLORERS REVIEW

So let’s take a look at what the new Nintendo handheld should be. Continue reading What The New Nintendo Handheld Should Be

Retro-Grade: Kingdom Hearts 2
Applause must be given to Square Enix and Disney for taking a chance with the original Kingdom Hearts. Taking both the family friendly series of the Disney movies and combining these with some of the dark themes of Final Fantasy must have been a risk. Continue reading Retro-Grade: Kingdom Hearts 2
7 WAYS BEING A XBOX FAN HAS BEEN DISAPPOINTING
Nobody expected Microsoft to jump into console gaming. Even fewer naysayers thought they would still be doing it today. I was a Nintendo kid in my earliest years (perhaps explaining some pent-up aggression) when suddenly a little indie-game called Halo 2 took me in an all-new direction. It hasn’t been an entirely positive experience though… and here are seven examples. Continue reading 7 WAYS BEING A XBOX FAN HAS BEEN DISAPPOINTING
